Progress in Biological Sciences is a bi-annual journal published by the University of Tehran Press, Tehran, Iran. It provides an international forum for biologists, and covers the entire range of the biological sciences including

• Cell and Molecular Biology,
• Genetics,
• Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology,
• Plant Sciences,
• Environmental Sciences and Biotechnology.

The journal accepts various types of manuscripts including Original Research Papers (Regular Papers), Review Articles, Short Communications, Viewpoints, and Letter to the Editor.
